Pox??

Hello,

Seriously after the red mites, the disgraceful hatching experiance, tell me this is not happening..

Pox!!??

She is my only chicken, a year and 5 months hen.

While in her nest trying to hatch some eggs there were lots of mosquitos. Everyday I put things and sprayed the bbq house where she stayed to prevent them from the bites.

Now, she shows this ugly spots..

I cant upload a photo here, but my Mom says my grandma used to treat her chickens with tomato.

I cut the small one off, a hard and yellow thing, looked like a verruca from the outside, and put some lemon on it. Poor little thing.

Any advice, all I found online is what it is and why it happens, blah blah. I just want to know what to do for my baby now!

Do nothing. Let the pox run its course. It will go away on its own in about a months time more or less. FYI: The yellow scabs are very infectious to other non infected birds.
