Birds packed and ready to load. Only one misshap in the bathing blix, one of my wyandottes singed his hackle feathers getting too close to the heat lamp... oh yeah one of my other wyandottes went crazy and I got cut by her nails... sporting a really nice scratch on my forehead...woohoo... the peril of chicken washing! Who knew it was an extreme sport???

Birds almost packed, me not! of course incubator went crazy this am and one of the auto-doors didin't work on the coop

Safe travels to everyone leaving today!! We're nearly a couple hours north of Stockton and are having the worst fog yet in this string of foggy days. Can't even see our lower pastures...yikes!! We'll be leaving even earlier than planned tomorrow so there's no rush.
