PR + EE = OE?

I have an EE cockerel, and a PR hen.

If I were to breed the two, could I get an Olive Egger?

My hen lays dark brown eggs (photo below) and thought, “Hey, What if?”

I would say "Maybe" there is no way to know if the EE rooster has two, one or no copy of the blue egg shell gene(O) you don't know until your F1 pullets start laying.. So to be 100% sure is using a pure breed that lay blue eggs

I bred him myself and his full sister lays bright blue eggs. He’s half Ameracauna, a quarter Polish, and a quarter leghorn.

Half Ameraucana means he only has One copy of the blue egg shell gene. that means that 50% of your pullets will lay Olive eggs
