I bought a Prairie Blue, but I’m thinking this is not what I got. I call her Snowy. Any ideas what breed she is?

She's very pretty! May I ask where you got her? I can't have white birds here, the coyotes seem to pick them off pretty quickly.

In Mason, Michigan at Family Farm and Home. She was advertised as a Prairie Bluebell Egger.

Do they usually have white hens in this variety?

I don't know anything about them besides what I Googled and posted, but from reading the description, it sure sounds possible!

According to Hoover’s Hatchery they are Araucana x Leghorn crosses. Based on the pictures they provide it’s more likely that they are Ameraucana or Easter Egger x Leghorn crosses.
