Prairie Flower Block Swap

katsdar I have been using the 1/2 water 1/2 cheap vodka recommended on QB. I love it for quilt fabric pressing. It sounds crazy but works great.
Also we used the vinyal pre-cut rolls from HD for the bottom of our chicken houses.

vodka the stuff with alcohol in it, crazy, will have to try that, and if I get frustrated I can have a drink, spray a little, have a drink, mmmmmm maybe that is why it works so good.

I will post a pic of what I bought, as it was coming down the road I though OMG that is big, lol, I don't remember it being that big, but lots of room, needless to say DH just shook his head and said awful nice building to put chickens in.

Warning~Pic Heavy! Here are the pics of my layout. Please forgive the mess! It needs cleaned out!
This is a pic of both of my coops. The small one is our growout coop. The pics are of the larger one. And I had something on my lens, so there are spots on the pic!

The second pic is looking in the entrance door. The screen door goes into the coop and these are the nest boxes. We open the door that flips down to gather the eggs

Another pic of the store room.

We take the wooden pin out and the door flips down. The nest boxes from the store room side.
Inside of the coop. We have roosts on all 3 walls. The nest boxes from in the coop.
We ferment their feed so we have a eaves trough attached to the wall to eat out of.
We can open their door from the store room with this rope. DH has it on a pulley system. To close it, we unhook it from the nail. The knot in the loop of the rope stops the rope when it reaches a hole in the wall up toward the ceiling. The second pic is one of the pullies.

The rope going to the door. The door is at the bottom of pic. This is our set up. It works well for us. We were going to put vinyl on the floor, but DH had the rubber roofing material already, so that is what we used. The wood floor under the mat is in new condition, so good protection in case we ever use it for something else.
