Hi ya special special prayer warriors and hug friends!


My 7 year old has a fever and my 3 year old has some yucky poo. I really keep thinking I'll be able to sleep one of these nights straight through. Then I remembered....that stopped once I got pregnant. ha ha...I was gonna say once I had kids but no, it was as soon as they were concieved.

ooooh sigh. Things will get better right?

Went to the dr. today...they did the quick strep on dd and said it was neg. but then they send it to the hospital and to the lengthy test.

I myself have showed up positive on the long test 2 x just last year.

So for now, they are telling me she has a virus. Gave me some cough syrup prescripition and sent us on our way.

Well, she was coughing so bad by the time we got home today...My 3 year old had fallen asleep in the car so she is wailing....open the van door and she was so worked up she had kicked off her shoes and socks...so here's me...juggling their mcdonald's meals...because our power was out for a while today...and then trying to carry her...so she's holering in my ears...fumble for the keys and get the door open and set her inside and am trying to set down the food in the kitchen and....

she's just YELLIN and Cryin and mad that she can't get her zipper and just still going at it....and then my 7 year old is having such a bad case of the coughs, she throws up the few french fries she had eaten in the car....let me tell you...more came out then went in.

so SHE started wailing and I got a 3 year old trying to wiggle out of a half zipped coat and a 7 year old puking streams from the mud porch to the bathroom.

yay me!

sigh....at least my power came back on. and now they are sitting watching cartoons feeling sorry for themselves.

oh....and i had to have the plumber out this morning because my laundry machine went up through the shower and flooded my bathroom.

so i had a bonified day today.

I'm bummed. I can't be there. But I got 2 sick little girls now...one's been laying on the couch for 3 days. Trying my best to keep her hydrated.


tryed different drinks....to reminding her what the dr. said about having to come back and get a shot if she doesn't drink plenty of fluids.

I just have to sit there and coach her i guess....come on sweety, drink more, you can do it...
