pray for me-& then some--Another on pg. 26

GREAT NEWS! GOD is good!!!

Now for those little ones, the one thing you have total control of is taking care of them and spoiling them rotten while they are sick. Put them in a nice warm bath with bubbles, let them play for a min and while they are playing take 2 of the biggest bath towels and throw them in the dryer. Let them get really warm. Remove them from the dryer and take them to the girls in the tub tell them it is time to get out and wrap their little puney bodies in those towels and go snuggle watching cartoons. They don't even need to get dressed just snuggle in the warmth. They will love it! and they will fall asleep quick I bet!

I even make a pallet on the couch with a sheet down (in case of special presents) and pillows at both ends and a warm blanket (fresh from the dryer)

You know you can take a nice little one after they fall asleep and spoil yourself too!!!

God IS wonderful. I am reminded that each day. And if I'm having a hard and unusually down day, week, month, year...whatever lol...I remind myself of His presence in my life so I don't go too far down in the depths of darkness and dispair. ...and yes, without a doubt, I've been there in the darkness and dispair.

But take right now for instance...the sun is shining magnificantly! It's God. He's here... He's always here.

And yes, there are ALWAYS "dangers, trials, and snares"...

"Through all the dangers, trials, and snares
I have already come
Twas Grace that brought me safe thus far
and Grace will lead me home."

I have nothing...I am nothing...I have not loved...without Jesus Christ.

So my 7 year old looks to have pulled out of her fever but what a long hard night. She has eaten toast and now chicken noodle soup and has kept it down. The coughs are being supressed by the dr. prescribed syrup....she hates the taste.

But she is well enough to go to school tomorrow now and she won't miss out on the Valentine's day party she was so excited about for 2 weeks.

My 3 year old is working on day 6 diarhea but only 1 to 2 times a day.

Both are on pedialyte.

...and I am sooooo tired.

Thank God for long weekends!

Mom is sitting at the hospital keeping my sister company today. Mom's great at taking naps but at least just having her there is kind of comforting. At least there's a flat screen tv in the room.

Thank you friends.

oh and warm bath and hot towel...sounds like a fantastic idea...and snuggling on the couch...though the youngest WILL get a diaper.

hugs,
g
