storm set in and I lost my power so we are at grannies right now...Northern Il. and southern Wisconny are havin some doozies in the last few hours.

been reading and feeling inspired from a book I picked up at the church rummage sale several years ago and never read...God must have known I'd need the message more than ever now, at this point in my life.


There's a lot going on in my life right now and though I'm scared at times...I also get this comfortable kind of peace and I thank God for every moment I'm here... with my little girls.

I was stuck in traffic most of the late afternoon today, so I be tired.

I offered to take my son to work today so he wouldn't have to use his gas. Its 35 miles there, then 35 back, and then 35 there and 35 back again. Wow, that 140 miles today, and most of it in traffic jams.

Its the US Open traffic. And Friday traffic and 5pm traffic, and road work, all at the same time!

boo...that's crazy...the traffic part...other than that...that's sounds about normal drive around here.

dac...petey has learned to use the cat door today AND yesterday we caught him climbing trees, walking the top of the fence, sitting on the chicken coop, and giving a very curious eye to the baby chicks in the run and also to a chattering squirrel above his head. He thinks he's a jaguar.




***ok, all....came over to grams to wash up...have my angiogram tomorrow, gotta be there at 11:30...surgery at 1:00 pm. Please pray things go okay and my heart doesn't have any new blockages. Thank you so very much.

Today Little Big Man got into the horse trailer! Yes he did! And DH took us to the beach. And I walked him down the beach and back. Then he wanted to go again, so we did. And he wanted to trot, so we did. Then he wanted to gallop, so we did! Yes, I got to gallop my pony down the beach. It was so fun. Then he loaded right back up to come home.
And then he got a bath, and his mane is so pretty white. I held the lead rope while he ate grass and dried. I put him in his corral, and he rolled and rolled and rolled!
