Prayers for my pregnant sister! UPDATE! Baby born!

Prayers sent for all of you. This must be so stressful.

I hope Zoe has a great time at the shower.

And she needs to remember, it is her doctor's job to be worried. Doctors are really good at that, especially OB/GYN's. They almost obsess about all of the things that can go wrong. If Zoe's doctor has been doing this for a while, she has probably had to deal with a wide variety of problems, and she tries to be prepared for any situation that can develop. The thought to focus on is that for every time something unpleasant did happen, there have been many, many more times when nothing went wrong, everything went right, and the best possible outcome is exactly what they got!

Ultrasounds are notoriously wrong for estimating birth weight. They kept telling me that my baby was going to be really small because of a complication. When I was in labor, my doctor asked me how big I thought the baby was going to be - and I said 9 pounds - he was 8 lbs. 14 ounces - afterwards she said that the reason she asked me was that she found that the mother was better at predicting birth weight than the ultrasound.

Yes most docs prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Thinking of you's hope all is well.

My oldest was born with two small holes in her heart. (They grew over) Cause we live in country, far away from big hospital, with second, he ordered fancy ultrasounds and said, if #2 may have problems, I don't want to deliever her. You will go to city for that. Second fancy ultra sound checked out, Thier just crossing thier T's

You're all probably right... Well, I'll have pics up whenever the baby comes. The baby shower went well. I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a single baby outfit left in the state, we got about four big baskets full in all!

Tani the baby will be fine my couisin Annabelle was born at 38 weeks and she is fine and Annabelle is the happiest little girl in the world full of smiles <3

and Yes i'm gonna be a Maternity Nurse lol xD
