So sad that things like this happen now a days.
Many prayers going up.

The news makes it sound like they were at an area where soon to be deployed are staged for processing to Iraq.
Name of "deceased shooter" rank Maj. released by media, looked him up and only found this:

What would make a soldier in the medical corps go off like that, so sad for the families as they were sending them off to serve and knew the risks abroad but surely not that they would meet them on their own base.
