Hey! How ironic that you have a cyst.....hopefully it will just evaporate. Do internal cysts do that? Anyway, pumpkin, hope you are doing well.

G, I KNEW it was a cyst. I just knew it!!! Hopefully the thing will just slowly leak and be done. There is nothing in there but water, but that pressure can be SOOO painful.

Yow!!!

I've had sooo many of those, and the worst part is when the docs come and tell you how big they are and they always refer to them in comparison to food. "Well, the one on your right ovary is about the size of a baked potato, and the one on your left is about the size of an orange."

And then if they burst, sometimes they're full of blood instead of fluid, and NOTHING feels like blood in the abdomen. The pain of the cyst, labor, etc. It's not necessarily worse than labor, but it's different than anything else- they say it's incapacitating to make a person stop and stay still when internal bleeding happens- it's horrible.

I always want to just go to sleep, but end up going to the ER breathing through it, knowing I need to get a sono to check for torsion...blasted female parts! Wish they'd just take them!

So glad you're back, and so glad it was 'just' a cyst.

Well don't hold out on me Chookschick... just level with me and give it to me straight.

It doesn't faze me that's what was causing the pain. I did experience pain like this in highschool but was put on the pill and that took care of it. In Nov. when I was having pain in my back and such...they did an ultrasound and found small cysts.

My 2nd oldest sister told me she was told when she was getting an exam during one of her pregnancies that she too had a cyst. My oldest sister just went through a full hysterectomy earlier this year to remove something like 7 growths, fibroids and cysts and one was a chocolate cyst we named, Herkimer. ...just for fun and we wrote poems about Herkimer...

...and I knew you'd get a kick out of this cyst Luna. And the lipomas I have that are causing me trouble on my leg and back, I saw the surgeon last thurs. before my ultrasound and he said, to come back when I'm off the blood thinners because he won't touch them until I'm off the blood thinners. So I guess I sit on my lipoma and it just continues to be a pain in my bum/leg. sigh....

Seems to be a family thing though with my sisters and my dad had lipomas... normally harmless unless they are somewhere that gets irritated...like sitting on this one.

oooh how I long to be back in the hot tub I visited this past weekend... it was sooooooo big and 104*...nice temp.
