prayers needed!!we lost her this afternoon

This one's already decided to live. She's gonna be fine...I can feel it.

ok we have 80 ccs of colostrum into her belly, now we wait for her to get a little stronger from that hopefully she will have a suck reflex then!!

we are tenetivly calling her bubbles..... she still has no suck reflex.. it will be time to try again in about 30 mins....

Oh she's a cutie! My goat kidded outside the other day too

Her baby was dropped in a mudhole, but she has done very well. I hope this baby is the same!!!!

this reminds me of our Brown Swiss calf that also refused to suckle...thankfully we found him a foster momma!

I had a doeling born last year with a heart on her back just like your little girl...who, btw, is not so little. That is a good sized newborn. Hope nursing reflex turns on soon. Good luck - holding good thoughts.

update? Prayers and good thoughts- hope the suck reflex started working.

still no suck reflex, i am trying with a bottle and nipple every time i go to feed her i try to get her to nurse off the bottle for several minutes but its a no go yet. we will try again in 4 hours. she made it through the nite now if we can just get her sucking.. she is peeing and pooping too! and now we wait thanks for all the prayers.. i appreciate it
