Pre-incubation candling shipped eggs

I believe it was specifically referencing floating around air sacs, which I have a couple of at least.

My eggs were lost in the mail for 6 days, they arrived on day 9 after being laid. The breeder told me to set them that night because they were so old, but do not start the turner for 48-72 hours to let the air sacs heal or settle. Anyway, I had wacky air sacs on most of the 36 eggs, I did as she said and after about 2 and a half days I started my turner. My eggs never rested pointy side down as my incubator and turner do not work like that, the eggs lay on their sides and the turner pushes them around a circle slowly a bit every few hours by making them roll.

There’s definitely hope for you because I just put 19 healthy 3 week old chicks out into their pen. I had 21 hatch, 1 assisted. 2 more shrink wrapped and died, 1 died early, and one had some bad leg deformities and died a few days after hatch. My turner is not gentle or smoothe and sometimes it really clunked them around. I had also never hatched anything before, so it was all new to me, and I bought my eggs from a stranger on eBay, and still with all those obstacles I have a ton of nearly grown healthy chicks.
