Pre-Mature Mating, Or Something Else? What's Shoud I do?

Hey everyone,
One of my Buff Orpington girls has a bit of a torn up neck. I'll post a picture when I can, but I cannot at the moment. She is eight weeks old and it seems as though Louie (my 1yr. 9mo. old rooster) has been trying to pre-maturely mate with her. Any advice as to what I should do? She slept in the garage in a dog crate last night, but now she's back with the others.

Only thing you can do is separate her from the roo. Poor baby.

Sounds like your roo needs the time-out, not the pullet.

Chicks should be kept separate from adults, especially roosters, until they are as big as the adults.

I will be getting rid of the young rooster (turns out it wasn't Louie) that has been doing this. I already have him and one other rooster AND I'll be getting a Buff Orpington rooster for the girls soon, so he needs to go anyways

My uncle SAW the younger rooster on top of her pulling out her feathers.
