Predator apron ideas.

Adding a 12x12 lean too off of my coop, going to have a chicken door for the chickens to access. Anyone have any ideas for a predator apron along the coop itself? Given that I can’t access underneath to bury anything.

The coop is the big red building?
I'd put an apron down from the siding there.
Who knows what might be living under that building.

I second that.

If you attach to the building and go down from there that looks like the best option.

The only other I see would be a floor in the lean to.....unless it is a run extension.

I third it... Staple your hardware cloth 2-3 inches up, bury it minimum 12" down under grade and then add a 1x4 across to cover the top seam.
Paint it white or red to match and look lovely...

Looks like that dirt was recently added?
I'd remove that dirt and add a dual HC apron. First one fastened to the siding, and cut around the building posts then laying under the building by at least a foot. Second, again fastened to the siding and a trench dug(if possible) a few inches to a foot and buried. Use a 1x4 to cover the edge of the HC on the siding.
