Do any of you have ideas how to keep predators from digging under a movable run? I haven't had any try to get under there yet, but I assume it's only a matter of time, and I'd rather be ahead of the game. I have a "movable" run attached to my coop right now. It's only temporary as we are planning to build a bigger permanent run soon. It's been raining so much here this last week, that we haven't been able to get our posts cemented into the ground. And it will be a few weeks before we can get the permanent run finished. So for now this is what the girls have. Nothing can get in between the run and the coop (it is all latched together). But there is nothing under the run to keep something from digging under. The run has to be movable as it is currently positioned in a driveway area. And the only other side we could have put it on has full hot sun all day (no shade and is also partially in the driveway). Any ideas on how I could make it safer?? Thanks for any advice!

the only thing I could suggest would be fencing the bottom of the coop as well. It's not an ideal solution but if it's only temp. then it should be ok.

A few lengths of electrified poultry netting. Then you don't have to dig post holes and pour cement.
