Predator got to my flock

Oh I’m so sorry for your loss, that is heartbreaking Do you have foxes there? I know they do that to chickens and don’t even eat the birds.....the way to deal with them is totally turn your chicken run and coop into Fort Knox, trap and drop them several miles away (more than 10), or shoot the foxes when you see them. Once they know where the prey is they will not give up. I think they get a thrill from just killing the birds.

Yeah there are foxes in my neighbourhood though I have never seen any. I'm currently building a large secure run. Going to buy some new baby chicks and start fresh again.

Also my yard smells like wet dog.
