I don't think we have wolverines here. They are super rare but they would be a lot more cooler to see than a coon. I'll send an update if we catch the culprit. Thanks.That sounds terrible, wolverine? It sounds like my bear attack but smaller scale and I busted them right away so they only got two birds. Sorry for your loss and good luck catching the culprit
I challenge anyone to go tug on that 2x4 wire and and try to pull it apart and let me know how it goes. If you can’t do it, a raccoon surely can’t.
Depends on the gauge I suppose. I don't know the gauge of mine (12?). I just tried and could barely put a noticeable bend in it. Tin snips can cut it (with effort) but bolt cutters are easier.As someone who has installed miles of this stuff over the yrs, I assure you it's not that difficult to break the welds and spread the wire apart. A large coon can definitely break the welds and enter a run. Many on here can confirm there strength and determination.
