Hello, predator question. We are in the country in Texas and let our ducks, chickens and Peafowl free range during the day. Left for a few hours and came back to 2 chickens, 2 ducks, and a peahen eaten. The only things left were many piles of feathers only. No parts at all. The peahen had been sitting on a nest…. What can take that many birds, inducing a full grown peahen??. And leave only feathers. Thanks in advance for any info

Oh no, so they pull the feathers out? I did not know that.

Thanks I did not know that either. I guess I need to work on getting my fence finished ☹️

Some kind of canine probably either a fox or a neighbor's dog. Coyote's tend to announce themselves if they are in the area at which point free ranging is just an expensive and frustrating buffet for them.
Thanks
