Has anyone noticed that if a predator attacks, the victim is usually the favorite of the birds. On two occassions, Ive had attacks from an owl and a fox. In both of those cases, the victim has been the birds that I'm more partial to. In the most recent case, the owl attacked my faorite gosling out of a group of 16 birds. My theory is that the more favorite brids are handled more by their owners and somehow lose some of their natural protective instincts, making them more susceptable to predation. Any thoughts on this?
