Good morning!! So today I was to start my lockdown and low and behold..WALLA!! 4 new babies!! The egg turner is still in there. Is it typical for them to come so early? What about the egg turner? My Temps and humidity levels have been consistent. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have heard of some coming early before. I also know it can depend on the breed somewhat. The 21 days is really an average regardless.

Are these bantam or bantam mixes by chance? From what I've read bantams are more likely to hatch a day or two earlier than standard chickens

Turn off/remove the turner. Go ahead and take out the babies if they appear dry and your brooder is ready. Up your humidity if needed.
