should I be concerned about the build up around the gland? My little guy is on Albon for a respiratory infection and I noticed his belly was very red underneath (I'll post photos, I just cleaned up some Poo so he was wet)
I sent the photos to a friend and she said to check for mites or anything so I noticed he had some build up around his gland but all other feathers look clean.
is his gland okay? And could the albon be causing the red stomach? I have to call the vet tomorrow because today was his last day in albon and he is still wheezing a bit so I will also ask them
I should also mention he does not roost, I only have him and a duck and they sleep together so he doesn't use his roost bar. I also wonder if he is a broiler breed and finds it harder to roost with his weight?

and another week of albon. which wasn't really a great reply. He unfortunately is not a avian specialist, but a farm vet. So I'm not sure he's the best for my chickens. But the closest vet to see them is 2 hours away
