Preferred bulk mealworms?!

I keep mine out in my feed room inside a heavy duty plastic bin. Take out a bag at a time and put into another bin since it gets opened every day. Never had any problems keeping them a long time as long as they are closed up good and air tight.
Awesome, I will go ahead and order a huge bag like you did then, thanks for the help!

Oh hillbilly, you know I cuddle my hedgehog. Quills or not, that face is just too cute. :ya In my defense, I'm not cuddling him when his quills are spiked out and when they're laying down flat you can't even feel them. So yes, it does take some special look/cuddles to make it happen but yes, pets are worth just watching! He does usually only come out at night but we have a schedule so it's fun. Towards the end of the night when everything is winding down, he'll wake up (9 pm) he'll eat and then he'll come run around and play for a little bit. Then he'll find a comfy place to cuddle up and once he falls back to sleep for a nap I tip toe him back into his tank! DELICACY YOU SAY!!! PEOPLE ALSO EAT DUCK MEAT YOU TELL ME?! :gig
Would i tell you which kinds of met i have already eaten, you would all hate me! - Yes, Peking-Duck is delicious when prepared correctly…

Now i'm just debating on a 20 pound bag or closer to 50. Any time restrictions on how long they'll keep good?
Take the 50lbs! Much better price and if kept dry, in theory they will stay good forever. But the ducks will invalidate any theory. - Now my wife is giving in when little Curiosity Duck approaches her and kindly asks for some worms… Quack, peeep, peeep?

Check out Amazon ... I purchase my Freeze Dried MealWorms from them & it's delivered to my door ;) The last I purchased was 5# for $29.
I don’t know why I’ve never ordered dried mealworms from Amazon (duh) I don’t have chickens yet but keep birds (Canaries, Finches, Bourkes & Gouldians) and order almost all their food thru Amazon. The dried worms I buy at our local feed store. I need to do some price comparison.

Nothing like what you've heard! They don't stink at all. I have in the bedroom, 4 tanks, Gilberta, a snake and a hedgehog. The only one not in the room is the ferret because he actually stinks! The hedgehog does poop but unlike ducks, it can be potty trained to use litter box along with the ferret! Hedgehog is very sweet and friendly. Very funny pet. I want a large bird but they are SO expensive so maybe one day! Hedgehog was another expensive one day but hubby got it for me as a present! I love it! The name, is Henry...! Oh how cute! I’d love one but right now I’m holding out for chickens.
