Pregnancy Update :)

I have severe nausea, actually hyperemesis gravidum, with my son and not a touch of nausea with my daughter.
I'm betting boy!

Congratulations. I would have to say girl too. I am pregnant with my second child. My first was a boy and I wasn't sick at all. THis one is a girl and I was sick for 14 weeks.

I've had 3 boys, and no sickness with any of them. If it weren't for my pants getting too tight, I would have never known with my last 2!! I 'knew' with my first, when I was about 3 weeks. It was so soon the blood tests didn't even show!

I've also heard mama's get sicker when the baby has lots of hair.

I was very sick with my first one... ALL through my pregnancy and childbirth and afterwards for a day... and then I felt so much better and I was sooo ravenous after I had her. I had not been able to eat without turning my stomach while I was pregnant. I also had pre-eclampsia.

I had 2 girls and was fine for my second one.

Maybe you're going to have a hairy baby.

Babies are always a blessing.
Sometimes blessings are disguised with nausea.
Think about all the wonderful times in your life that the butterflies in your stomach feel like nausea.... prom night, first date, asking someone to marry you, telling someone you love them for the first time, watching your child walk the stage at graduation... the list goes on and on.
It seems quite fitting to me that babies begin with nausea for 3 months when you consider what a wonderous blessing it is.

So happy for you
