Pregnant or just fat? (Goat)

So I just bought my first two goats today! One Tricolor moon spotted and one cream-and-white Nigerian dwarves. The Moon spotted has started to calm down and accept my petting, the cream and white.. not so much. Both have been just handled at night, so they aren't the picture or domestication.

They kidded in November, and were housed with TWO billys. Their kids were just weaned a couple weeks ago. The moon spotted only had one kid, the white doe had two. Despite the time that's passed the moonspotted still has an udder going on.

Anywho, the moonspotted doe looks REALLY big to me. I didn't get any above pictures of them, i'll be going out tomorrow to get that. The man who I bought them from said they might be 1 month pregnant but I suspect they may be a bit further along than that if they are.













They were tied out to 'cool down' and munch a little of the brush. They were too riled up to put in the barn. I think with two billys it's not much of a question of IF they are pregnant, just 'how far along'

I'll get pictures of the udders, tops sides, and rumps soon.

(( Also I'm mildly flipping out because I've wanted goats for SO LONG and now I have them. I'm so happy! ))

It is hard to tell whether they are pregnant or not. Time will tell. Watch the top of the udder from the rear. If they are pergnant you will see some changes there. Also, as pregnancy advances the perineal region usually gets puffy. Notice I said usually. Goats don't read the books and I have been fooled on more than one occasion.

I can confirm the moon spotted is pregnant.

I was petting her and felt a baby kick.
