Prem duckling leg / spine problems? HELP

I would say he has Wry Neck going off by the video, which can either be caused by a deficiency in thiamine (B1), neurological damage, or a deficiency in vitamin E. I would start him on high-level vitamin B complex durvet brand, and also get him some vitamin E capsules soft gels, 400iu per capsule. For more information, you can check this link out,

The bowedness of the legs may be caused by something else, I think the ataxia like symptoms need to be corrected first before you can consider making a hobble for him.

The B complex can be attained from most feed stores. Brewers yeast does contain thiamine, but probably not enough to treat your duckling. You need a heavily concentrated form of thiamine.
Ok, I’ll start with the brewers as I have that to hand and get ordered the b complex also, thank you!

Thank you, sorry I missed this! I will order some Vit E also and watch link now.

Can you get vitamin E capsules too? Did you read the link I provided?
Sorry to bother you, quick question. Best way to get anything into him.. he sips now and then but because the heads so out of control I am not getting the amount in I need to, worried of choking also. Is there a technique for Wry neck feeding?
Thanks

If you are talking about hourly feeding's and not the vitamin administration. I support their head with my fingers and guide their bill to the food, they will often eat once they are positioned in such a way, for water, same way, but dip their bill in the liquid for 1/2 second, and give them time to get everything down.

Tiny amounts right inside the bill let him swallow then again, or tube feeding. Any way you can support his neck so he can drink and eat on his own or is that what you've been doing?

Yes drinking unaided, I just support body and he dips beak in and swallows but food is an absolute no go currently, spits out anything that gets in the beak. I mixed up a solution tonight and syringe fed a small amount and will start early tomorrow
