Premature Kidding

The discharge probably meant that she was in heat. The pawing is a sign of abdominal pain and the head pressing is a sign of a headache. The head pressing is one of the symptoms of polio (thiamine deficiency). Ask your vet for some thiamine. The head pressing and the pawing combined really sounds like enterotoxemia. The two often go together. Entero is deadly. If it were my goat I would get some clostridium perfingens antitoxin (not toxoid) and give her a dose. You might be able to find it at the feed store or livestock supply. If you have penicillin, give her about 5cc's. Penicillin is effective against clostridium organisms and will help, but if she has entero you really need the antitoxin.

What else is this goat doing? Is she eating and drinking normally? Does her belly feel tight? Is she peeing and pooping? Is she stretching or kicking at her belly? Is she grinding her teeth?

She seems to be in no pain though! She runs ands jumps like a maniac, and eats and drinks fine.

@cassie could it be a pseudo pregnancy? I know usually they will carry longer but...You know goats, they rarely do things by the book.lol

No. She hasn't been bred long enough to exhibit signs of pregnancy pseudo or not. The discharge is most likely an indication she came back into heat.

When does she paw? Goats do that when they are getting ready to lie down. It is their way of making a bed.
