I have wanted chickens for a long time. My town doesn’t allow chickens unless I get a special permit from my city council. We are a rural community of about 1350 people so I am hoping that I won’t have any problems obtaining permission. After this is obtained I am ready to change an old shed into a coop to give the girls some room when they can’t get outside in this crazy Nebraska weather. I love to garden too and am excited to plant some things to make these chickies happy. I’m here for all the tips and tricks on preparing this coop and raising happy and healthy birds!
