There is a picture of the rotator in my incubator. I will be going into lockdown soon and have a question. I've seen on youtube that people remove the turner and place the eggs on the bottom (mesh floor). Should I remove the turner for hatching? I'm worried if I don't then when they do hatch the little chicks (they are silkies) will hurt themselves somehow with the gaps in the turner. If I do remove the turner, how do I sit the eggs to ensure they are in a correct position?
