Preparing for winter

Hi. I have 6.5 month old chickens (1 white leghorn and 3 barred rock). This is my first time raising chickens. We currently have 2 egglayers. With old man winter approaching, I'm trying to get everything I need or prepped for the chickens, including a warm coop and runner. Any tips would be appreciated.

For healthy feathered birds a good, draft free but well ventilated coop is the primary need.
