Preparing to set call and pekin duck eggs! Hatch day should be March 4, 2021 if all goes well!

Looks like it's going to be dark when he molts. he's got dark spots all over it now. He's also getting rust color on his breast.

Took these just now. He's got his neck sucked in, but there is a very thick, distinct white collar around his neck.

Gorgeous. Looks like a nice charcoal head, then. Them round cheeks too!

Puddle is so stinking tiny. Here are all four from batch 2.

Starting with Puddle (dark) and going clockwise: Puddle, Jason, Lidus, Flipper.

My girls from this line are stinking tiny too! All of them. They are bitty compared to Iggy, Fishy, and Swim. Very round, compact little things. I wonder if I've got a comparison shot somewhere.

Lidus has the chins.... Partly reason for the name change. 🤣

Yes! Would love to see comparison pics. It's hard to teally get it in a pic for me. Even the one where she's beside everyone else. The camera angles just don't do her justice. She is smaller than my foot! So petite.

I plan on using her to try and add that size to some shorter bills and rounder heads.

The trio. Captain Hook out front with the dark bill. Beaver back left in the first pic, and Queequeg back right. Not really sure about their coloring anymore. They don't look exactly snowy to me, but they do continue looking freaking cute. View attachment 2776370View attachment 2776371
They look so much like my little sassy Lylah! So ducking adorable 💜 Gah!!! So much cuteness with Shaw's little tiny ducklings swimming and then all of our "teenager" flocks 😍

It doesn't seem like these should be this big already. Time speeds by way too fast
