Present Help Please!!

We'll I'm such a dork! I have a friend from a few years back, and at first I thought I had missed her birthday, and wrote her an "I'm soo sorry I missed it" note.. and then she laughed and said it was weeks till her birthday yet.. and then I really did forget it altogether!! So, I had wanted to get her something in the first place, and now I really want to get her something as a belated birthday present! Just a little something to show that I do care and so she'll have something to think of me on.. even if its late. My friend, she lives in California.. (moved there almost 2 years ago

).. shes 26... kinda, well... a hippy LOL.. her hair is super short and purple-blond right now, and theres no telling what will strike her fancy. I had decided on getting her an assortment of different Peacock feathers.. maybe White & Burmese & Midnight... ones she couldn't find in a store... thinking she could put them in a vase? So, do you all think that idea may be a little silly and over-young (a reflection of me LOL)... what do you think?

I have a huge vase of peacock feathers on my dresser. Some of them are 20 years old. Those are the one thing that all my children want when I croak.

Give them to her. Mine are a real treasure.

Theres nothing wrong with that. If thats something you think she will like go for it. Now before you forget the day of her birthday get you a address book and write it down. This way next year you can surprise her by remembering the right day
