In the Brooder
Hello! Since I was a little child I have had chickens. Now I have 11 chickens and a rooster. I raise them and I love them, they are great. None have a pure breed. Only one but I don't know it. Many have Mapuche chicken ancestry (collonka or araucana). Others with bare necks.
About me: I am from Valparaíso, Chile. I study musical pedagogy at the university. I have had other birds in the past. I also have cats and a dog. But I like the poultry theme much more.
A few months ago I have been visiting this forum researching some topics since I had 2 chikens with ascites. I was able to cure one successfully. Now I am happy to join this great forum. There is not much information about chickens looking for in Spanish.
Right now I need to know about a hen that has had a lump for a long time, even though she is very healthy. It's probably subcutaneous emphysema, it seems to be an air sac problem. I want to be sure to see if I can intervene on her or take her to a veterinarian (it is very difficult to find veterinarians specialized in "exotic" animals here)

Sorry if my English is not very good.
Greetings!
