I have another quick one, can I take a marker and put a small mark on an egg I am hatching?

You can store eggs up to 14 days at room temp, after 10-14 days the hatching rate start going down !!

Yes, that's true, but unless you have a 2nd incubator to use as a hatcher, make sure you put all you're going to in at the same time.
