Pressure sores vs. Bumblefoot

KaleIAm, my vet has prescribed a treatment as well for my first case of Bumble (chicken) in 9 years. The chicken responded so quickly to the soaking, topical meds, bandaging performed twice a day. Vet is recommending the same treatment for my ducks even though he doesn't think it is bumble yet. I am totally with you on the habitat changes....I am going to soften things up this weekend and create an earthen ramp because I think they are jumping/falling off their pool ramp and causing bruising on their feet. I bought some neoprene (open toe version) booties to have as an option in my regimen as well. Not looking forward to putting those on my wiggle worms though!!
