Yes, She was a rescue when I got her, She was horribly over-weight and missing all of her feathers.. She was given kitchen scraps as her main "Diet" was well.. 5 years with a proper diet and regular exercise later and she's just as healthy as my other heritage turkeys.
Seriously. You have no idea how happy I am to read this! FIVE YEARS?!? Wow. May I ask your exercise and diet regime? I take mine running twice daily. Of course they tucker out after a quarter mile or so. But then we walk.
The photo is three of my five boys this am.

I feed my girl once in the morning,Then she's out with my other turkeys free ranging. They mostly like to forage in my clover/timothy grass mixed pastures. But this is what I give her for grain. https://shop.grangecoop.com/product...9AjSfqRuD5jutHBdOSxB3xTWiFKFbouxoCxZ0QAvD_BwE
I don't give her much, And for exercise i'd take a hand full of cat food and make her follow me around the farm as i'm doing chores everyday. I don't do that anymore but she'll still follow me around and such while i'm out and about~

How do I get some?
You could always pm me or email me if you'd like ;) Unfortunately right now most of my hens are going through their molt so I currently don't have enough laying hens. If you want I can always pm you when I have some available.
They are so cute!! What colors will you have in the spring? We have some Frizzled Polish that should hatch on the 15th of this month:jumpy
Right now I have blue, calico, lav splash, black, silver laced, and black mottled. All are mixed, no purebred polishes. I plan on adding tolbunts, barred polishes, Candy corn, and (If I can find any) I'd love to have some Creole polish chickies to breed~
