So we are getting chicks again in January and I want some really pretty birds what breeds and specific colorings are the prettiest in your opinion. I know we are already getting blue cochins

Barnevelders have some gorgeous feathers. If you want birds with funky hair, Cackle has appenzeller spitzhaubens with the most weird little hairdo, their coloring is also gorgeous. Speckled sussex and/or jubilee orpingtons for those colors.

We get oura from Murray mcmurray bc we are live in Iowa.

Do you have any chickens right now and if so what breeds?
Yea we do we have 2 speckled sussex, 2 Rhode island red, 2 wyandotte gold laced 1s a roo. 2 buff cochins, 1 buff orpington 2 blue Andalusian 2 campines and 1 polish

Check out double laced Barnevelders for beauty, but I think they are slow to lay. I don't have any ... yet.
Our hatch doesn't sell barbevelders unfortunately. And we don't ever have chicks shipped

I'm a sucker for anything blue or laced but it sounds like you already have those in your flock. If you're looking for more diversity, I think I'd get some Easter Eggers or Ameraucanas. They come in so many fun feather patterns and have cute puffy faces. The colored eggs are also a plus. I also think you should get something barred or black. Plymouth Rocks are a favorite of mine and Marans will give you some nice dark eggs. Bielefelders, Welsummers, or Legbars would also make great additions to your flock.

I want a really pretty and handsome roo I have a wyandotte rooster bur I think I can do better I might let him and my speckled sussex hatch babies bc I've seen photos of offspring of those 2 breeds and they looked pretty.
