This is Flash, a golden-neck d'Uccle rooster. Here is is at eight months of age:

Flash is a sweet little man, and loves to visit with me on my lap and chirp away about all the goings on in the yard. He is also very gallant and protective toward his lady love, Miss Olivia - - he loves finding her treats, and he insists on escorting her everywhere and protecting her from danger. He even guards the doorway of their love nest while she is laying her eggs.

Lavender D'Uccle rooster almost 2 years old.

He's a great leader of his flock of 10 hens and he has a gentle personality. He loves sitting in my lap and is a real cuddle-bug, we have been in love with him since the day we got him as a day old chick.
