Pot Pie…1.5 year old EE she’s a lap chicken and lays robins egg blue eggs. (She’s a pet, the name is just for giggles!)

This is Flax. She’s about 17 weeks old and is the sweetest chicken I’ve had/known! She’s such a lap chicken and loves snuggles, pets, and running to greet everyone.

The other EE with her in some of photos is Aster, I submitted her separately.

She is on the verge! Checking out the nest box and faking me out with her polish/silkie half sister that just started laying. I expect her to lay light green or aqua. Her mom laid blue/aqua and dad came from a typical light tan silkie egg.

Hello, meet Lizzy, my only EE. When she was young, her mohawk got her the name Lizzy. Kinda punky! Lol! She is 3 years old and lays lovely blue eggs.

White. She is the half sister to the bird in my Avatar photo as well.
Mom was a splash Ameraucana.

Splash is part of blue genetics (BBS). Recessive white "hides" other colors and the father carried blue.
This pairing had several other chicks of the same cross and every one of them was blue.
Chicken genetics are fascinating!
