Are polish chickens fairly docile? I have my egg laying girls and my silkie pet but I want another beautiful breed as a pet. :3lol Peepsicle, he totally was. He has this look on his face like ¬_¬
Many people, including my own husband, like to refer to the Polish hens as the "vegas show girls" lol
lol yes, they're usually very docile. They're the breed that changed my mind about chickens being pets, after all. In my experience, they tend to bond with one or two individuals, whether it's another chicken or a person, and they'll be in the company of that individual whenever possible. Their crests can make them a bit neurotic since they can't see, but I give mine a trim now and then to improve their vision and that helps.
They're about ten pounds of personality in a five pound sack. Every one I have is unique from the rest.
