Great idea for a thread! My girls are on strike for the winter. They hate cold & are not happy the roosters are in the coop with them. But spring is right around the corner!

These are my heritage flocks' eggs. I have barred rocks,new hampshires, rhode island reds, ameraucanas, Easter eggers (EEs), lakenvelders, cuckoo marans, silver laced wyandottes, partridge cochins, buff orpingtons, bielefelders, delawares, bielefelder ameraucana mix, buckeye EE mix, and my other mixes.

Love your rainbow eggs too! My hens are low on production as well. Our hot and cold flashes are really hard on them. The heat flash caused them to go into a full on molt in the fall and the cold snap caused a lot of them to get weak, so we had a lot of hens in our "hospital" in our house.

Just got our first EE egg today, surprisingly intact w/ shell in the corner of the run

Though they're small and pretty
