The roos about a year old... and the hens were bought july, 25 and when i got them they where already 2 months old. Are they to young?

...Are you incubating them first?

They have to be incubated for a few days before you can actually see somthing.

I never cracked any open... how can you tell if there fertile when you crack them? and no most of the time i take them out of the pen and incubate them but she was laying on theses so i decided to candle them and see if anything was in there.

They have to be either sat on, or incubated for atleast 7-8 days before you can actually start

seeing anything inside.

Checking fertility when cracking an egg open: A non-fertile egg has a white dot. A fertile egg has a small ring around the white dot, like a bullseye.
