Pretty speckled eggs

These eggs weve been getting are so pretty. In years of having chickens we've never had white speckles like this. The hen is the yellow one. She came from a feed store and I didn't care what type the chicks were (was trying to get my numbers back up after a fox attack) but remember she wasn't a standard breed but some kind of hybrid for egg production.
They're almost too pretty to eat.

I would blow some to keep as decoration!

She looks to be a Buff Orpington. I know they lay lightly coloured eggs. The spots almost look like squashed calcium deposits.

ETA: Grammar!
Definitely going to keep a couple for display! She's not the body type for an Orpington though, she's almost as slim as my leghorn chicken. I have a lavender Orpington and that little hen is like a fat, feathered beach ball. :lau
