Attempting incubating 3 duck eggs. Im a first timer. Tonight is day 18. Im afraid that all 3 have died. There are definitely still distinct veins but they mostly look like dark blobs. When i just candled i did not see any movement whatsoever. Here are a few pics i took of them and i know theyre kinda crap but man is it hard to take a good pic of a candled egg. Someone confirm?

The further along they get the less you can see. It looks like I can still see some veining at least, so that's a good sign. Don't give up yet.
They all definitely still have very visable veins and have been this way for a couple days now so maybe they could still be alive even though no movement?

I cant help with ducks. However with tortoises we dont give up until the egg is obviously rotted. You would be amazed how many are hatched months past the normal amount of time.

I've only incubated duck eggs one time so I am no expert. We did hatch all three that we were incubating.

LOL! Never hatched those, but we do have a couple. A Sulcata and a Leopard Tortoise.

If you look in the duck egg chart then you will notice that your eggs look about what they should for the number of days. Sorry image not very clear. As the duck grows you will see a more solid dark mass less of the veining so wouldn’t give up unless goes rotten.

What about the fact that i see absolutely no movement? Normal for the age?
