Welcome to the flock! I have a brown leghorn hen as well. Great white shelled egg layer! Love the big single comb and white earlobes! Mine is one of the top girls on the pecking order. She’s smaller than most of my others, but she still lets them know who is Queen!

Thank you all for such warm welcomes! This girl is certainly at the bottom of the pecking order, (and a Houdini as well). Enough so that I’ve been keeping her in my transition pen with my “tweens” that outgrow the brooder but not big enough to go into the adult pen yet. She herself is only several months old but has been teaching the little ones the ropes on how to be chickens. She’s a keeper
