Hi everyone! I was so excited to add a salmon faverolle to my flock but think I may have to keep searching. The local feed store was selling them as salmon chicks but, well, ya know how that goes sometimes.Any thoughts on what it may actually be? Thank you in advance!

Brown Leghorn pullet.

Fav chicks are easy to identify. Yellow with muffs, feathered legs and 5 toes. At least you got a pullet.

That's a really nice looking Brown Leghorn pullet. The Leghorn I have is very friendly, and lays lots of white-shelled eggs. They seem to be very sweet and friendly birds in general.

Look closely at the chicks when you go to buy some.

Salmon favarolle are bearded and have five toes. I do hope this helps.

Nice looking bird anyway. Even if it's the wrong breed.
