im new at raising chickens and ducks. I have 4 Rhode Islands not sure of the sex,and 4 pekin ducks not sure of their sex either! T forhey are 6 weeks old and I was wondering if I am supposed to give them any kind of nutrient or preventative medicine < Thanks

I can only tell you what you need for chickens, but not ducks. Chickens need a good quality starter/grower feed until laying age about 20 weeks old, and good fresh clean water. I like to put a poultry vitamin and a probiotic in the water 2-3 times a week, just to keep their intestines healthy. Avian Superpak is a good vitamin, and Probios Soluble Powder is good. A small amount of cultured buttermilk is also good as a probiotic. About twice a year after they are 6 months old, you may want to worm them with Valbazen or Safeguard Lquid goat wormer for most chicken worms.
