Preventing hawks and gender questions

Hi so i saw this post a little back where hawks are scared of CD’s because of the reflective glare it scares them or something, do you guys have a photo or idea what it would look like? I was recently facing the wall with my chicken trying to encourage them to forage let the chicks out (there was a metal cage thing between them) hawk swooped and barely missed by a foot, my older chicken spooked me which in turn spooked the hawk, It was SO close im so glad the hawk missed, I want to do everything to prevent future hawks but dont want to spend too much


As for the gender question, my suspect is my 5 day old chick, tad bit young haha- but when we had her in the cage introducing her to my pullet (put a cage inside of a cage for protection) she put her chest against the cage multiple times as if she was trying to fight her, it was an odd sight, and she just got her tail feathers yesterday compared to her sister, not sure if the feathers thing means anything, Thanks in advance~
P.S i thought i got a video of her posture but didnt it just looks like she’s standing up tall with her neck out, and she does this posture quite often, thanks again

Tried the CD's for protection around my pigeon lofts. They did not work for me. Pullets as well as cockerels chest bump and mock fight as they are growing.
