I have, thank you. Unfortunately, I think my hen is dying. It's hard to see them fading like she is.
Thank you for the welcome words.
I'm so sorry

From one reformed lurker to another!(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My great grandmother and my granny both had chickens when I was growing up. But, I got my first ones a year and a half ago. Up until now, it's been smoothing sailing.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 27 hens, one roo, and 2 ducks
(3) What breeds do you have?ALOT! I love all my girls, but I LOVE getting an array of colored eggs!
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? When I was researching having and taking care of chickens a year and a half ago before we started our flock.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?dogs, crocheting, cross-stitching, card making, scrapbooking, and soap/bathbomb making
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am married with 3 kids. One boy and 2 girls. The oldest just started driving! Yikes! I am a stay at home mom and I homeschool all three. We live in the Pacific Northwest and love the weather here. Except for a bit of the three months of summer, 80 degrees is way too hot! LOL And I say that as a former California girls of nearly 20 years! HAHA
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? Found it while looking for information about building a coop and taking care of chickens about a year and a half ago. I finally joined because I have a sick hen I'm really worried about and several hens with injuries from predator attacks, we think all from a bobcat that we got on our game cam. :-(
