Price for registered Nubian (PICTURE!)

Get both!

No seriously, do you have company for the Nubian, if you got her?

I myself prefer to buy does in kid, or already in milk, or in kid AND in milk. I do think the nubian is a very good deal to pass off, even with the price rise. And the sable sounds like good value for money too, so I would get both but i wouldnt get just the sable because as you said, you would be feeding her for a year before she is giving you anything back. But she would be a good friend for the nubian if you got both

I have a down payment on this goat, so the new goat will be a companion for her.

I just love her.

However, y'all are making me feel better about the price of the purebred nubian.

A "grade" is not the same thing as an American. If she's 50% she's a grade. You are correct, grades are not as valuable. However, many "Americans" have been that way for generations and are just as pure genetically as a PB.

SGCH= Superior Genetics Grand Champion. Meaning, permanant Grand Champion, meaning-they ARE proven in the show ring-more than once. My ONE American (the rest are PB) Nubian is my nicest doe by far, as a "show and breeding" animal. To the the SG designation, they have to be in the top 15% for milk production.

Misinformation like this is why Nubian breeders are still fighting against the grain trying to get potential buyers to consider nice American stock.

Did you take that link I posted? She has awesome awesome animals, and most of them are Americans.

SGCH Mega-Milkers Classical Cozette AI 5*M American
SGCH Mega-Milkers Scimitar Kosovo 7*M American
SGCH Mega-Milkers Kosovo Chinita 8*M American
